Why this matters
LTA currently states that CVES continues for light commercial vehicles until 31 March 2027, while the Heavy Vehicle Zero Emissions Scheme (HVZES) replaced the ETS for heavy commercial vehicles from 1 January 2026. Singapore's EV charging standard was elevated from TR25:2022 to Singapore Standard SS 722 from 1 April 2026.
